The best place you can get very good information on mutual funds is mutualfundsindia.com or moneycontrol.com , any of these sites. You must go to performance section on mutualfundsindia website and click on toppers and laggards section to compare any kind of funds you require, you can sort according to your desired time frame. But for me the best time frame is minimum 1 year consistent return. Also in mutual fund you must check couple of few things other than return, like,
sharpe ratio, the higher the better,
standard deviation, the lower the better,
expense ratio, the lower the better and
on top of everything good return in minimum 1 year time frame.
