What’s the best on-line broker?
Question by glbrown78: What’s the best on-line broker?
I currently use Fidelity and find the website not very easy to use. Particularly the ability to research/compare different mutual funds, which is mostly what I invest in. Any suggestions for an alternative that offers lots of no-fee no-load funds as well as a user-friendly web-site and good service? My investment portfolio is low 7 figs.

If you want to stay with them you can purchase a subscription to fund researchers like the guys/gals over at MorningStar…it is probably where most Brokers get their research from anyways. They do offer free research on their website too located here: http://www.morningstar.com/Cover/Funds.aspx
We have a subscription a subscription for our office, it is pretty helpful. Check it out. For what it is worth, many brokerage shops would provide you a lot of research with your portfolio size. I would call them up and talk to someone and see how much you can get out of them to move your account over. Lots of them are killing to open new accounts right now and forwarding you over research or even buying you a subscription is nothing to them.
e*trade and Schwab are always notable choices, call them and see what each will give you for coming over.
